Each client gets a secure upload route for statements, receipts, and documents. Files travel over encrypted connections instead of sitting in an email inbox.
We never ask for your bank password. Account access is set up through QuickBooks and your bank's own secure connections, with view-only access wherever possible.
Your documents are handled by your bookkeeper at Lexis Sapphire LLC, not passed around. Access is limited to what the work requires.
Documents are filed by month and kept with your QuickBooks records. Your books and files belong to you, and you can take them with you at any time.

Lexis Sapphire Financial is the bookkeeping practice of Lexis Sapphire LLC, based in Detroit. Owner Risha Smith brings 16 years of federal program and contract work with the U.S. Army, where accuracy, documentation, and deadlines were the job. She applies that same discipline to your books, with modern tools: QuickBooks Online, connected bank feeds, and automation that removes the tedious parts while a person still reviews every month.
The result is a bookkeeping service that is personal, plain-spoken, and built for owners who would rather run their business than chase receipts. The menu format is honest, too: what you see is what you pay.

Yes. That is the point of the menu. Order a Cleanup, a Year-End Package, a Review Call, or a side on its own. If you later want a monthly main, we will help you pick the right one.
No. Lexis Sapphire Financial is a bookkeeping firm. We keep your books accurate and current all year, and the Year-End Package ($149, included in Premium) gives your tax preparer a clean handoff. Payroll is not offered at this time.
QuickBooks Online. Your bank and credit card feeds connect directly to it, and you keep your own login, so you can look at your numbers any time you like.
Through a private, secure upload link we set up for you, and through QuickBooks itself. Statements, receipts, and invoices go straight into your client file. We never ask you to send sensitive documents as plain email attachments, and we never ask for your bank password.
Yes. Start with Cleanup & Catch-Up, quoted up front between $249 and $1,500 depending on how many months need rebuilding. Once you are current, a monthly main keeps you that way.
No. We are based in Detroit and glad to meet local clients, but everything runs online, so we serve small businesses anywhere in the United States.
Yes. Mains are month to month. Move up or down as your transaction volume changes, and if you ever cancel, your books, documents, and QuickBooks file are yours to take with you.
